A New Ending of "Romeo and Juliet"

William Shakespeare is one of the best author and playwright in history. He is known for his talent in using the English language to make majestic plays, poems, novels, and stories. One of his best known written novel is the story of "Romeo and Juliet". A story of two lovers that came from two feuding families. A story that is so great, it had many versions created by different directors.

If I will alter the ending of the novel, I would prevent the death of the two lovers. After Romeo had killed Paris and about to drink the poison, Juliet will wake up thus preventing Romeo to kill himself. They would then escape to another country, where Romeo will be the king and Juliet his queen. Romeo would then invade Verona, making it a part of his territory. They would live there to reunite with their families and finally put an end to the feud between them. They would then live in peace with their two children, families, and friends.

Novels are one of the important ways that made history be remembered. They are examples of the art and traditions that people had in the past. They are one of the basis of our language and literature today so we need to treasure them and keep them for the future generations to come and bask on the knowledge that these novels had given us.
