My Teacher, My Hero

Napoleon, Julius Caesar, Alexander the Great, Jose Rizal, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, Archimedes, and Bill Gates. All of these great people of history cannot achieve what they had achieved without someone who guided them to victory and success - their teachers. Teachers who are always there for them whenever they need help and advice. Teachers who seem to be the only people who are there when they are in need. Teachers, their reason for success.

I had many teachers already. Funny teachers, beautiful teachers, scary teachers, and even irritating teachers. But the teacher that affected my life the most is Mrs. Marjorie M. Digma. She is our Botany teacher in second year high school and our class adviser at the same time. She is the best teacher I had so far.

Mommy Digz, as our class call her, changes as a person depending on her schedule. As a subject teacher, she is very strict, specially when it comes to the requirements that we have to pass and to our performance in her subject. She is also very helpful to students who seem to be confused on the new lesson that she is teaching. As a class adviser, she is very loving and caring. She treats our class like her own children. Whenever we have problems regarding studies, grades, love, whatever it is, she is always there to spare some time to talk to us about it and gives us a handful of advises.

Knowledge is what makes our world go round. Knowledge about science, history, mathematics, and most of all - love. All of the knowledge that we have cannot be obtained if we don't have anyone who teaches us. Our teacher can be ourselves, our parents, our friends, our loved ones, and our school teachers. The important thing is, our teacher is the reason why we can survive all the challenges that this world will give us.
